Bringing a competitive edge to cooking in Caringbah
Commencing in June, The Hospitality Establishment, is bringing the magic of the MasterChef television series to its Caringbah store. A sixteen week series of cooking classes incorporating individual and team challenges similar to that of the hit television show invites participants to experience cooking on a whole new level.
Each week groups of up to sixteen people will enter the Hospitality Establishment’s kitchen and will face a unique individual or team-based cooking challenge. The program is aimed at providing an opportunity for people to challenge their culinary skills against others in an interactive and entertaining cooking session. The evenings cater to all skill levels with participants learning new skills while they work under the watchful eye of the chefs.
Chef and owner of The Hospitality Establishment, Tony Crossin reveals "we're excited to be able to provide the opportunity to have a hands-on go at some of the challenge faced in these popular cooking shows”.
Resident Chef, Garth Halliburton comments "I am constantly impressed with some of the dishes presented on popular cooking shows and am eager to see what the folk of the Shire can deliver - although, the thought of critiquing other people's food is going to be the toughest part for me - at least with our classes I won't have to eliminate anyone!"
Participants will also have the luxury of cooking in a brand new designer kitchen from Kitcheners Kitchens filled with all the latest kitchen gadgets at their disposal. Everyone who comes along to one of the classes will also go into a draw to win a private dinner party for 12 people at The Hospitality Establishment.
With children's cooking classes being a hit amongst the youngsters, Crossin hints at the potential for a similar style of kids cooking program when Junior MasterChef returns to our screens. "We are really encouraged by the amount of kids coming to our school holiday classes and the enthusiasm they show for learning more about food and the possibility for doing a similar style program is definitely on our radar".
These weekly cooking challenges are open to anyone willing to have a go and commence on Thursday the 9th of June. If you would like to join in please contact The Hospitality Establishment (02) 8521 7501 to make a booking.
