‘Winter Indulgence Weekend’
A wonderful weekend of food and wine indulgence in the beautiful surroundings of Perisher Valley
The first of a planned annual ‘Winter Indulgence Weekend’ event will be hosted by Summer Salt Restaurant at The Man From Snowy River Hotel, Perisher Valley from Friday 17th June till Sunday 19th June 2011. This event combines some of life’s greatest pleasures - culinary indulgence, exquisite wines and action-packed snow activities - all in the beautiful surrounds of Perisher Valley.
It is an opportunity to indulge in Carl Jensen’s (Executive Chef and Owner of Summer Salt Restaurant) divine food, sip on Cockfighter’s Ghost’s exquisite wines and enjoy the luxury accommodation at The Man from Snowy River, situated at the base of the Perisher Valley ski fields.

Cockfighter’s Ghost Opening Cocktail Party
Friday 17th June from 6.00pm
Celebrate your arrival to the ‘Winter Indulgence Weekend’ at our opening night cocktail party exclusively for event guests. Staged in the dining room of The Man from Snowy River, with its floor to ceiling glass windows overlooking the ski fields of Perisher Valley, it will be sure to entice not only your taste buds but also pump your adrenaline for a weekend of skiing/boarding ahead. Delight in Summer Salt’s delicious canapés whilst sipping Cockfighter’s Ghost wines all to the chilled sounds of duo James English and Oliver Savy.
Summer Salt’s Degustation Dinner and Dance
Saturday 18th June from 6.00pm
Celebrate a wonderful day on the slopes with Carl Jensen’s fabulous 5-course degustation dinner artfully matched with the Cockfighter’s Ghost wines by Lisa McGuigan. The degustation dinner will be the highlight of this culinary weekend and will be sure to satisfy a hungry appetite after a hard day on the slopes. With Carl Jensen and the Summer Salt team taking over the kitchen and Cockfighter’s Ghost wines flowing freely on the floor, this is sure to be an evening to amaze even the most astute foodie. Finishing the evening in style is entertainment duo, James English and Oliver Savy, who will be sure to keep you on the dance floor until late. Lisa McGuigan from Pooles Rock wines will be entertaining and educating guests as MC during this event.

Tickets cost $600.00 per person inclusive of:
